The complete PosternProxy core is available under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.
PosternProxy’s controller, embedded web interface, and multi-server agent are available as source code. You can audit how configuration is generated, understand how credentials are handled, and run the product on infrastructure you control.
The AGPLv3 edition includes proxy hosts, automatic HTTPS, TCP and UDP streams, access lists, port forwarding, remote server management, audit logging, configuration history, and Nginx import.
You may use, modify, and distribute PosternProxy under the AGPLv3. If you modify it and make the modified software available to users over a network, the license generally requires you to offer those users the complete corresponding source code.
This page is a practical summary, not legal advice. Review the full license before deploying PosternProxy in your organization.
Contributions are welcome through the project repository. Because PosternProxy uses a dual-license model, contributors are required to complete a Contributor License Agreement so their work can remain available in both open-source and commercial distributions.
